Who we are
About 1equals8
We are a non-profit organization that is the foundation and home base of a nation-wide movement to inspire Americans to our cause. We seek to show others that by taking the courageous step of becoming an organ donor, they have the power to change the lives of as many as eight other individuals. Our goal is to increase participation in organ donation and to destigmatize the process to the public. Our mission is to inform, educate, and motivate the public to the benefits of organ donation through creating, assisting and supporting public outreach programs that work in public platforms, social media, and the promotion of legislative action. We are dedicated to using every tool at our disposal to make the choice to be a donor a natural one.
